This study introduces the Normalized Harvest Phenology Index (NHPI), a novel approach for detecting corn and soybean harvesting dates. Using Landsat and Sentinel-2 imagery on Google Earth Engine, the method enhances agricultural monitoring, improves crop management, and supports food security through advanced satellite-based precision agriculture and remote sensing applications.
